Sycamore Canyon Falls Hike

Sunday - March 9th at 10:00 AM

Distance: 5 miles                                Easy/Moderate

The Sycamore Canyon offers a wonderful array for experiences for walkers and hikers. From the get-away-from-it-all ruggedness of the mountain watershed to gritty urban adventures alongside freeways, there is a rich variety of experiences.

Explore this very pleasant tree-lined trail with us! We'll be hiking the moderate part of the Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa trail up to Point Mugu State Park in Santa Monica Mountain.

The hike will take approximately 3 hours round trip.

Directions: From Los Angeles take 101-N towards Ventura then take exit 45 which is Lynn Road, turn left on Lynn Road going south about 5.5 miles then turn left on Via Goleta, then towards the end of the road is the parking lot. ( I think it’s best for some of us to carpool, if not then it’s fine.)

Bring: Water, a bite to eat, shoes with good tread, sun protection, and the 10 essentials.

Rain Cancels. But threat of rain does not… so be prepared!
