Sunset Thai
restaurant is located on Sunset Boulevard in
Hollywood, just a few blocks west of La Brea
Avenue. At Sunset Thai, you'll enjoy a
relaxing atmosphere, excellent service from
our friendly waitresses, reasonable prices
and, above all, great Thai food.

|
As an appetizer, we
suggest you try some Sunset Thai
Steamed Chicken Dumplings or
Chicken Sa-Tay with Thai
peanut dressing. Seafood lovers: you simply
must try our spicy Steamed Mussels!
Vegetarians and other vegetable lovers: how
about some scrumptious Vegetable
Dumplings, Egg Rolls
or Spring Rolls ?
Or perhaps you'd like to begin with a soup -
a yummy Wonton, or a spicy
Tom Yom Koong.
If you like coconut milk, you'll love our
Tom Kha Kai soup - not too
spicy, with the tantalizing aroma of Thai
herbs. And if you order a large size soup,
we'll put it in a hot pot for you, with an
open flame to keep it nice and hot so you
can savor it at your leisure.

In the mood for a salad?
How about a Roast Duck Salad
- yummy boneless roast duck with
onion, lemon juice, chili pepper and Thai
sweet basil. Or an Oriental Chicken
Salad - a fresh green salad with a
tasty sweet and sour sesame dressing.
Or perhaps you'd like to try the chef's
personal favorite: Som
Tum (Papaya) Salad - a traditional
Thai salad with a unique, many flavored
dressing - sweet from Thai palm sugar, sour
from lime juice, and a little spicy from
Thai chili - all mixed with papaya. It's so
delicious ! Like asparagus? Try our
Yam Asparagus Salad,
with shredded chicken, onion, garlic, and
peanuts in a spicy lime dressing

|
Noodle lovers: For those
who`d prefer to forego the hot spices, we
recommend our very popular
Pad Thai . And for
those who like their noodles on the zesty
side, we suggest our Kung
Pao Noodles or
Spicy Thai Noodles. Does your mouth
water when you imagine your noodles in a
creamy, slightly spicy, coconut milk soup?
Then you'll love the Sunset Thai
Curry Noodles. And
don't forget to use your chopsticks - they
can add to the pleasure of eating noodle
dishes!
|
|
Visions of Thai curry? We
recommend Yellow Curry
for those who love curry, but not so spicy,
and traditional Thai
Green Curry for those who like it
hot. And for those who like it both hot and
sweet, we suggest our
Roast Duck Curry - duck, curry, and
pineapple - a great combination! Try it! For
a special treat, have the curry of your
choice with the Sunset Thai brown rice. To
cool your palate between bites, sip an
ice-cold Thai Beer
or Thai Iced Tea.
|
Seafood lovers: Try their
Shrimp and Crab Claws in
Curry Sauce , or
Salmon Curry Sauce a grill salmon
tender with creamy curry sauce . A tip from
the chef: if you like your seafood spicy,
you'll love the Sunset Thai
Spicy Seafood Combination
- it's the best in LA.
